Welcome to Sappy Paws – Where Puppies Are Raised Like Family

At Sappy Paws in Lebanon, Oregon, we are a close-knit family of breeders who take pride in raising happy, healthy, and well-socialized puppies. All of our Mamas are cherished family pets, cared for in our homes and loved through every stage of life. We believe that each puppy deserves to be treated like a member of the family, from the moment they’re born to the day they join yours.

While our puppies are born in the homes of our family throughout Lebanon, Oregon, they all come together around 6–7 weeks of age at the Sapp family farm to continue their journey before adoption. Here, at Tamieka’s home, they enjoy a safe, nurturing, and fun home!

Our puppies live and play together with their littermates and receive daily socialization as they explore new environments. They enjoy plenty of room to run and play, including a large grassy yard, shaded outdoor spaces with misters, and toys that stimulate their growing minds. Inside the home, our pups are part of the family, lounging on couches, napping underfoot, and learning what it’s like to be a beloved companion.

We focus on creating a smooth transition for each puppy. By the time they go home, puppies are already sleeping through the night in their kennel beds and have a great start on potty training.

At Sappy Paws, it truly is like summer camp for puppies! Our home is full of love, fun, structure, and the kind of attention only a family can give. We are passionate about what we do and would be honored to help you find your forever family member.

MEET TAMIEKA SAPP

Hi, I'm Tamieka!

Wife to Randy, mom to eight wonderful kids and dog lover.

I spent most of my life as a stay-at-home mom, while homeschooling my kids and taking care of our farm. Now that most of my kids are grown and have left the nest, I had to find something I loved and enjoyed to fill my time.

And here we are! I started Sappy Paws Breeding almost a decade ago and have loved it every day since. I get to snuggle puppies every single day, meet amazing new people and provide families with beautiful fur babies.

Over the years, Sappy Paws has grown into a family business, which is a dream come true. With the help of my three daughters, two daughters-in-law, and my mom, we all work together to raise, nurture, and love these puppies right in our homes - just like family - until they make their way into yours.

I am available 7 days a week for our families expecting a sweet puppy. Please contact me to ask any questions or to arrange a visit!

MEET MADDIE

Hey, Maddie here!

I've always been the animal lover and I jumped into the family business with my mom because of my passion and love for animals. I loved 4H growing up and helping here on the farm. My current goal is to go to cosmetology school here in Oregon, and the support of my family has been huge in that.

I'm an extroverted introvert who loves dogs and the love and support they offer. My three girls are Mia (pictured), Maze and Nicky (my sweet Aussaliers not pictured)!

MEET SHARON

Hello there, I'm Tamieka's Mom, Sharon. But everyone in my family calls me 'Gammie'.

I was married to my late Husband for over 40 years, I am a mother of two, have eleven grandkids and ten great-grandkids! I lived in Gold Beach most of my life but have loved living close to my family in Lebanon for the past 15 years.

I have always had Cavapoo dogs and absolutely love them. I enjoy making them scrambled eggs for treats and snuggling them. They are great company and companionship.

MEET ELLI

Hi there, I'm Elli!

I’ve been married for 13 wonderful years to my Husband and we have four beautiful children. Being a mom is the greatest joy and adventure of my life. Our home is full of love, laughter, and the pitter-patter of both little feet and tiny paws.

In 2020 our beautiful Aussalier, Mabel, joined our family. Mabel is gentle, patient, and playful with our kids. Her presence in our home is a great comfort and we all truly adore her.

I’ve always loved Australian Shepherds, and combining that with the easygoing Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has been incredible. Aussaliers have the best of both worlds: loyal, smart, gentle, and deeply loving. They’re the perfect family dog! Being part of this family-run business is a blessing, and I love helping bring joy to others through our sweet puppies.

MEET MARTHA

Hey, I'm Martha!

My family is the joy of my heart. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 15 years, we have four children who I have the privilege to stay at home with and homeschool. We are a deep rooted family, all of us born and raised in the sweet town of Lebanon. Five years ago we were gifted the sweetest little puppy, we named her Sunny and have been in love with our golden ever since. Prior to this precious puppy we had not had a dog, now I can’t imagine life without her.

We know that she is too sweet to keep all to ourselves and decided to breed her.
